Wanda Lloyd and Tina Ansa Optional Blog Post

 

I really enjoyed it when these two amazing women came to speak in our classroom. Not only did I think their friendship and energy between the two od them was joyful, funny, and heartwarming, but I thought they were incredibly educated and experienced women who I was thankful to learn from. I most enjoyed hearing about their pasts in journalism and how even though they had similar educations, they ended up using them in very different ways. My biggest takeaway was that the knowledge I am acquiring now is a result of both my classes and my experience in the newsroom and that I will be able to take away what I am learning as life skills that will help me regardless of my future occupation.
